Sofret Um Ghaith Studio is the in-house publishing tool of Sofret Um Ghaith (umghaith.com), a family home-cooking channel. Our small team uses it through a private Telegram bot to prepare short recipe videos and share them to our own accounts on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. Each video links to the full written recipe on this website.
What the app does
1. The team approves a recipe and its short video inside our private bot.
2. The account owner connects their TikTok account once with TikTok Login Kit and approves the requested permissions.
3. For each approved video, the owner opens a post screen in the bot: they see the video, the TikTok account it will be posted to, an editable caption, the privacy options returned by TikTok (nothing preselected), comment / Duet / Stitch settings and the commercial content disclosure, and they confirm the Music Usage Confirmation.
4. Only when the owner taps Post is the video published with the TikTok Content Posting API, or sent to their TikTok inbox as a draft to finish in the app.
The app is not offered to the public and posts only to accounts owned by our team.
TikTok permissions used
user.info.basic: to show which TikTok account is connected. video.publish: to publish a video the owner has approved and configured. video.upload: to send a video to the owner's TikTok drafts.
Privacy and terms
We store only the access tokens needed to post on the owner's behalf, on our own server; we never sell or share them, and we do not collect data about other TikTok users. Details: Privacy policy and Terms of use.
